The Evil Queen (aka the Wicked Queen, or simply, the Queen, and Queen Grimhilde in some old publicity material and comics) is the main antagonist of Disney's 1937 animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the first Disney villain in the Disney animated features canon. Determined to remain the fairest one of all, she becomes insanely jealous of her stepdaughter, Snow White, the only one whose beauty surpasses her own. Grimhilde eventually disguises herself as an old peddler via potion to tempt Snow White into eating a poisoned apple, in a final attempt to do away with her only, unknowing rival.
